(2/1/21) Temple commit Zach Hicks will begin his senior season with Camden Catholic this Thursday vs Cherry Hill East. Last year he averaged a team-leading 20 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.  Some sites are reporting he is now 6’9 and would provide much needed depth at forward for the Owls in 2021-22.

Hicks made the 2021 Boys Basketball Player of the Year Watchlist. (NJ)

(9/2/20)  Zach Hicks will make his college decision this Friday and the favorites are Temple, Missouri, or Richmond.  I do believe he picks Temple.

(4/18/20) Zach and his family had an official “Zoom” meeting with the Temple coaching staff.

(2/8/20) Zach Hicks is having an excellent Junior season at Camden Catholic and is the team’s leading scorer with over 19 points per game. Currently holds offers from Temple, Richmond, La Salle, Drexel, and Siena.

(12/19/19)  It was reported that Zach Hicks enjoyed his recent visit to Rutgers.  “I was impressed, so I’d probably give it like a 97 rating,” Hicks said of the visit.  Temple and Richmond have also been in constant contact with the 6’7 Junior who plays for the Philly Pride AAU.

“(Temple head coach) Aaron McKie is wise and you can learn a lot from him because he played at such a high level,” Hicks said.

(10/12/19)  Hicks will take an official visit to Temple this weekend and should be in attendance for Temple Basketball’s open practice Saturday morning at 9:30 A.M.  According to an article from Matt Agnoli;

Temple: “He has an official this weekend to Temple. I liked the way they said they were going to use him because they like his shooting ability. And also they were talking about his footwork coming off screens. So they’re basically going to use him in the Klay Thompson role, coming off screens, because that’s what he’s good at. And they also like the fact that he can play multiple positions.  They take turns calling Zach on the phone and talking to him, but mostly with us it’s been Coach (Chris) Clark and Aaron McKie.”
